Everything begins with … water
It is vital to our body. Just like oxygen, water is a natural source of life. As a human being you could live on – if necessary – a few weeks without nutrition, but you cannot survive without fluids. For our body consists of about 2 thirds of water, for babies that is even more! That is why drinking a lot of water is really necessary. Adults need about one and a half to two liters a day, which is about eight glasses of water. So do not wait until you are thirsty, always keep a glass of water within reach. It goes without saying that children should drink a lot of water and far less soft drinks and sugared beverages, as the foundation for a healthy and fit way of life is laid at this very moment!
Source of purity and health
A helpless baby, a nursing mother, a child in full growth, a top athlete or an active senior… We all need water to become – and stay - healthy. Pure water helps you cleanse your body and is crucial for all the chemical processes that happen in our cells. It rinses the kidneys and by doing this, drains off the toxics. Furthermore, water transports nutrition and oxygen and helps to drain off waste products. Moreover, it keeps our joints, eyes, mouth, etc. moist and it controls our body temperature. Last but not least, water is an essential supplier of Calcium and Magnesium. Therefore it is vital to keep up your ‘water level’. Our body loses up to 1.07 liter fluids a day through, amongst others, transpiration. This could even be more when sporting. If you do not drink enough, you can dehydrate and this causes complains like fatigue, headaches, joint aches and indigestion.
The message is clear: keep on sipping!
Pureness, beauty, vitality
Water does not only help you staying healthy, is also makes you look radiant. Our blood transports the water into the body and our skin is the last organ to profit from it. If you do not drink enough water, your complexion will be sallow and pale. Water helps to hydrate the skin, which makes it look softer and smoother. Enough fluids slow down the aging effects, like wrinkles. Your hair will shine and will no longer look lifeless. For those who like to stay slim, drinking water is an absolute must. It helps to burn calories faster during your ordinary daily everyday jobs, but it also makes your stomach more rapidly feel satisfied. You will not feel like an unhealthy snack in between if you keep on sipping!
